Adam & Diana’s Wedding

July 21, 2010

As the first Falling Confetti international wedding was a little nervous, with the 2nd one coming up this summer was glad to be able to relax and just really enjoy seeing a different side of Europe. Just to see a totally different set of customs, from Adam having to ask for Diana’s hand in marriage (in Romanian), being followed around all day by a man with an accordian, and seeing the most beautiful cathedral in Sibiu – it was an incredible experience.

An absolutely beautiful wedding for an awesome couple that was really honoured to be part of.

Sandwiches!

July 19, 2010

Yum !!!

Managed to snap this shot of one of the kids at Steph & Drew’s wedding today, there’s something about the perspective that makes his sandwich look one of those french toasts you get when you go on holiday. What a great day out, loved it….

Today we were out on location in sunny Bedford shooting in and around the church that Alex & Rhiannon wanted to use for their wedding. Trying to get in as many locations as possible, we stopped off for a well needed lunch at Maccy’Ds (which doesn’t feature in the photos) – but where we all seemed to be incredibly lucky and ended up heading off to the grounds of the Bedford Swan Hotel with more than enough packets of fruit to make up for at least a few 5 a days.

Keeping with the name of the Swan Hotel we had more than 1 who seemed to be interested in what we were up to and followed us all along the riverside.

Alex & Rhiannon are a brilliant couple, great fun and we’re very much looking forward to shooting their wedding later on this year.

Visit to South Farm

April 13, 2010

We went to visit the beautiful wedding venue that is South Farm in Cambridgeshire, as well as being an awesome wedding venue it’s also a full working farm. We were lucky enough to see these little fellows running around, 2 really little playful piglets – the moment that one stopped, the other one would get a burst of energy and they’d both run around like puppies. Beautiful! I was wondering if we could do enough weddings this year to afford a micro pig ..

it was about this time we found out what was on the wedding lunch menu – Hog Roast … (!)
